the year of better cooking

I dont make New Years resolutions, I'm usually happy with how I'm living my life. I'm eating how I want to, working out almost every day, I've always done well in school and with finding jobs so I don't really like to make a yearly resolution to improve anything.

I do like to give myself projects.

So after my parents anniversary dinner went so well, I decided to try cooking more often. I've come up with a list of 13 recipes that I want to try out over the next year. This wont happen much since I'll be at college but I'll have the summer, next winter break and anytime in between that I'm home.

The first recipe on the list is Cauliflower Crust Pizza. I've always wanted to try this out because I've seen so many good reviews of it! I'm trying to eat a bit healthier too and I love pizza. I used the recipe from here but tweaked it a little after finding other crust recipes.

The crust was a bit soggy but overall tasted delicious! It had a bit of a pasta texture instead of a pizza (but no one was complaining.) If I try this recipe again, I'll probably do something to make the crust less moist. First recipe seems to be a success and heres to a whole year of them!

  4. This looks very delicious. I love food and cooking. One of my 'projects' for the year is to finish a new cooking book my husband got me for christmas. I've already made a few and they have turned out really well. Homemade pizza is the best!
