Olathe Art Festival

I went down to the local art festival this weekend to get some culture :) There were plenty of people selling their jewelry, photography, paintings, crafts and even a guy who makes pens in his basement! His booth was by far the coolest, he had pens made of water buffalo and bullet shells and snake skin! He was a really great guy to talk to and definitely someone who cares about their craft. I got a little sunburnt but nonetheless, still enjoyed myself and had to refrain from buying multiple photos :) They also had live music playing all day so when we first arrived, they had a barbershop chorus of about 20 old men. They were the cutest!

I am obsessed with alleyways. I have no idea why, I have literally no explanation. Maybe I was homeless in a past life but I have countless pictures of alleyways around town or even from various trips around the country. I love my area because parts of the city will have Spanish inspired architecture, which I am also obsessed with, so I just had to take this picture. The train in the background is a nice touch too.
